We were delighted to welcome the former Mayor of Abingdon, Rawda Jehanli, to the Churchill Hospital to meet members of the colorectal nursing and consultant team to say thank you for Rawda’s fundraising efforts.

Rawda saw first hand the work of the team in Oxford, the impact on patients and how her money raised will support the department.

Thanks for the support Rawda!

The focus of World IBD day is to raise awareness of Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease and to urge governments and healthcare professionals to support and advocate for the ten million people in the world living with IBD.
There is still so much taboo and mis-understanding around IBD that makes living with with it even harder than it already is, we will keep funding new treatments and raising awareness for as long as we can to help make a difference to those people. 💜
