The Gatehouse is a volunteer-run café for homeless and vulnerable people, open six days a week in the heart of Oxford. Each Wednesday, guests can express their creative talents in thriving art sessions, funded by Community Champions. Faith pictures and landscapes rub shoulders with intricate drawings and spontaneous pictures that play with words. The creative process provides some healing for peop

le who often struggle to express themselves. When industrious work takes place, the whole atmosphere of the café becomes more relaxed. Such stability is appreciated by those whose lives can be harsh and unpredictable.
