Tingewick Society

Tingewick Society Formed in 1939, Tingewick is led by a group of medical students at Oxford who work together to raise money for two fantastic charities.

Throughout the year, they put on a variety of events that culminates in a now, renowned pantomime.

Panto season is officially here! Last week, we had the pleasure of attending The Tingewick Society's annual Christmas pantomime at the JR – an annual tradition brought to life by Oxford's brilliant medical students.

This year's show, titled "Beauty and the Yeast Infection" (yes, you read that right), had us in stitches with a wonderful mix of medical humour and slapstick comedy. From clever jokes to outrageous costumes, these talented future doctors never fail to bring down the house!

We're incredibly honoured to be one of their chosen charities again this year, alongside local charity Restore. And it was great to be able to share with them after the show just how their amazing fundraising efforts make such a big impact on the work that we do in our hospitals.

We will never know how they manage to juggle their medical studies and produce a three-hour panto, but we’re so grateful to them for their continued support towards our charity.

Take a bow Tingewick Society – you’ve outdone yourselves once again! Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Tingeaid is tonight!! Once again we are raising money for Restore and Oxford Hospitals Charity .

Tingewick firm presents our annual Tingeaid Play 'The Iliac - Achilles Heals' this weekend (6th and 7th) at the John Radcliffe, Tingewick Hall. This medical parody of the Iliad promises to be full of singing, dancing, some terribly good (and some truly terrible) medical puns, and of course a really large elephant. All money raised goes to charity. Link for tickets: https://fixr.co/event/tingeaid24-the-iliac-achilles-heals-tickets-12763802 .

Please note: this show is mature due to a burlesque/magic mike style dance and some swearing. If you can't make it but still want to donate to tingewick please use this link:
