What an amazing achievement. It was fantastic to see so many of you take on the challenge and cross the finish line last Sunday.

By dedicating your time, energy and determination to fundraising, you've helped us raise vital funds that enable us to support families with a free place to stay close to their child while they're in hospital.

A huge thank you to the wonderful teams who have been supporting families staying at our House over the past few weeks. 💛

From getting their hands dirty in the gardens to helping out around the House and treating families to a special evening together, they've made a real difference to the families staying with us.

Celestra helped prepare our back garden for the autumn months, Cantech sourced items for our Grab & Go area before hosting a pizza evening for families, Vertex helped clean a number of our family kitchens, and Miele spent the day refreshing our front garden and planting bulbs ready for spring.

It's amazing what can be achieved when people come together to give their time and support. Every task completed, every space refreshed and every kind gesture helps make our House feel even more like home for families with a child in hospital.

Thank you all for your enthusiasm, generosity and willingness to get stuck in. We loved welcoming you to the House and are so grateful for everything you've done.

Christmas may still feel a little way off, but we're already looking ahead to the festive season and would love your help! 🎄

As we start planning our festive content, we're looking for stories from families who have stayed in a Ronald McDonald House over the last few years. These stories help us show the real impact of keeping families close during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

We're particularly keen to hear from:
Families who stayed in a House over the Christmas period
Families whose siblings were able to stay together
Families who can share how the House helped remove a practical worry during a difficult time
Families from all regions and backgrounds

The stories shared may be featured across our website and social media channels, helping us highlight the importance of our Houses and the families we support.

McHappy Day is here! 💛

On 26 September, your McDonald's order can help families stay close when they need each other most.

For every qualifying main meal purchased at your local McDonald's, £1 will be donated to Ronald McDonald House UK, helping provide families with a free place to stay while their child receives hospital treatment. 🏠

You can support families even further by rounding up your order at the till. And don't forget the limited-edition £5 Grimace Beanie, available in selected restaurants with all proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House UK. 💜

Every meal, every round-up and every beanie helps keep families together through some of the toughest times of their lives.

We've been busy getting ready for McHappy Day! 🍟✨
A huge thank you to our wonderful helpers from the local McDonald's restaurant in Headington who decorated the Day Room and brought along meals for families. Thanks to their creativity and enthusiasm, the House is looking fantastic.

We were also delighted to hand out Build-A-Bears to children staying at the House, bringing plenty of smiles and special moments for families spending time away from home while their child is in hospital.

A huge thank you to Build-A-Bear Workshop! These thoughtful moments can make a real difference to families facing some of the most challenging times in their lives.

McHappy Day takes place this Saturday, 26 September, with £1 from every qualifying main meal purchased at McDonald's being donated to Ronald McDonald House UK.
The day is all about raising awareness of our mission to keep families close to their child during hospital treatment. Whether you're rounding up your order, picking up a meal from your local McDonald's, or simply helping spread the word, every contribution makes a difference. 💛

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

Once a Ronald McDonald House Family, always a Ronald McDonald House Family. ❤️

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
