Now we've had a month to recover from the Festive Season, and the January blues, we thought it would be the perfect time to share some of the highlights from our time at the The London International Horse Show .
Tuffa Boots and Tuffa Racing For Charity are incredibly proud to be supporting as a sponsor to Ted Twiston-Davies, a young rider from one of British racing’s most iconic dynasties. As the son of legendary trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies, Ted is already showing that dedication, character and talent run deep in the family.
Ahead of the Shetland Pony Grand National taking place at The London International Horse Show 2025 - Ted went above and beyond to support the Bob Champion Cancer Trust . In November and December 2025, he was entertaining crowds at Cheltenham Racecourse, busking with his trumpet to help raise the sponsorship funds required to compete. At just 11 years old, it is truly inspirational to see Ted not only raising money through music, but also able to play a stunning rendition of the Last Post on Remembrance, a moment that reflects maturity well beyond his years.
Riding the brilliant Shivrara Bandit, Ted has enjoyed an exceptional time with the Shetland Pony Grand National circuit. He wrapped up Super Saturday on 22 December in unforgettable style, storming home to win at London and delighting packed crowds.
The London International Horse Show is also famed for its festive fun, with competitions running throughout the week — including the much-loved Best Dressed Stable. Ted fully embraced the occasion, with his older, tougher Tuffa boots even stepping in to kit out Santa, adding to the magic of an incredible week.
We were immensely proud to have sponsored Ted at London and are delighted to continue our sponsorship into the 2026 season. Please take a look through the photos — they truly tell the story of a remarkable young rider, an unforgettable week, and a sport that raises both funds and smiles, and it was wonderful for Tuffa Boots founder Michelle Girling to be with some of her sponsored riders.
Thank you Real Time Imaging for the pictures of Ted, and to Ted's family for the others.
