Prompted by the equinox last week, the question posed to the groups was could they identify anything that was out of balance in their lives and what action could they take to try and restore it?

Answers ranged from not obsessing over things in my head so much, listening more and talking less to not eating as many packets of crisps or wishing said sibling wasn’t so annoying. A beautiful group time of introspection, reflection and sharing. 🧡🍁

I don’t sauna pretty- the big red head on me 😂Regardless, it was such a fun way to mark the autumn equinox🍂. The Lamas were a delightful bonus - they liked nibbling my hair and were very playful and curious. 🦙Ophelia, Leticia and Audrey🧡

Tuesdays wand competition pieces week 1.

One of the things Iove about my job is that no two sessions are the same. Tuning into the collective interests of the group is both varied and rewarding.

Personalising the sessions in this way creates opportunity for engagement to come from within, driven by intrinsic motivation and curiosity rather simply from teacher to learner. To encourage time and space for this activities are purposefully kept to a minimum.

Sometimes simply spending time amongst the trees, having the space to slow down encounter boredom and see where it takes us. From that, space creativity can emerge naturally, along with a deeper sense of satisfaction and ownership in what we choose to do.

Took myself off to Left Bank Leeds for a wonderful workshop by Jenny Wright on painting on fabric with natural inks.

🌻I loved playing with the colours and trying things. There were some stunning masterpieces created in the class- happy with my kid level efforts though😂

🌾Field to fork fully home grown campfire cooking vibe is ON.

✨Garlic & onion hash browns with hawthorn ketchup ✨

The ingredients were sown and grown in the RW field (spuds, onions and garlic) and the haws were forged from the woods. Dream.
