Lilys Patchwork Memories

The idea behind Lily’s Patchwork Memories, came after the unfortunate loss of our daughter Lily in 2007. The concept that a bespoke keepsake can be lovingly created from clothing to reflect the most precious people and events in our lives. During this time I had received a ‘blanket of love’ within Lily’s memory box from the charity SiMBA. I now donate similar special items to the charity. These are made using the remnants of clothes or fabrics donated from clients & their orders for other parents facing the unfortunate loss of a baby. I have spent the last four years growing this unique keepsake business into something that is swiftly expanding & receiving orders from as far as Spain, Australia and the USA. As a self-taught machinist (with no previous experience in textiles or sewing) I work to meet demand with a wonderful hard-working team. Beautiful patchwork quilts, cushions, hearts, keepsake books & advent calendars are just some of the items I create using your child’s pre-loved clothes or the latest fabric patterns. I am sincerely thankful for all the help received from family & friends in building this business, without them I just wouldn't be able to do everything alone. I am also a member of a unique Guild of Keepsake Artists, which provides an online community for artists & crafters of various kinds of keepsakes & also a keepsake shop to allow people to easily find a wide range of sentimental gifts.
