Allwch chi helpu? - Can you help?

This photograph has been kindly donated to the club.
Can you put names to the faces?
Do you know the occasion?
Do you have any idea of when this was?
So many questions. 🙂

Help Us Map Llanwddyn’s History!
Do you have old photos of your home tucked away in a drawer?
Clwb Hanes Llanwddyn is starting a new project to document the changing face of our village, and we need your help!
If you have a photo of your house from back in the day, a shop that has now become a home or a place where gatherings took place that are no longer there, please share it in the comments below.

Every photo helps us preserve the story of our village for the next generation. 👍

Remember photos from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are now valuable pieces of social history too!

Bonus points if you can tell us:
• 📅 Roughly what year/decade it was taken.
• 💭 A favourite memory or a "fun fact" about who lived there, or what fun took place.

📸 Do you have a piece of Llanwddyn’s history?
Clwb Hanes Llanwddyn is building an archive to preserve the stories, photos, and documents of our unique village for future generations. Whether it’s a photo of the old village, the village since the building of the dam, a school program from the 70s, or stories passed down from your grandparents, we want to see and hear them!
How to help:
• Post your photo in the comments below.
• Tell us the story behind it (who, where, when).
• DM us or email: [email protected] if you have documents you’d like us to help scan!
Help us keep the memory of Llanwddyn alive. Diolch!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Quaker talk last night, our first event, we really hope you enjoyed it. Your support is really appreciated and will help to provide valuable funds to be used in the creation of the new Llanwddyn history archive room.

To all that came and anyone who was unable to, if you haven't already, could you send us your email address? We can then add you to our growing number of supporters and keep you informed of all that is happening. You can send via a private message here or by email to [email protected]

Just a reminder that this Thursday 19th, we have our first Clwb Hanes talk on the Montgomeryshire Quakers by Carol Pearce.

All monies raised will go towards creating a Llanwddyn History archive at the Community Centre, and allowing us to organise future events.

The aim of the archive is to collect photos, documents, stories, artefacts and display Llanwddyn's history.

We look forward to seeing you at 7pm at the Community Centre.

Diolch
