Whittington Together Promote the varied Charitable Voluntary Community Organisations, Events, Local Groups and Business 🏰

‘Whittington Together’ is a collaboration of local volunteer, charity and community groups that give their time and effort to serve the people in the Parish of Whittington and surrounding areas. The aims and purpose of ‘Whittington Together’ ~
* Improve communications between the organisations
* Explore opportunities where working together can bring savings in cost and resources, the Summer Villag

e Fete being the main example of this
* Promote volunteering opportunities and encourage residents to get involved
* Improve the communications of local events to the Parish Community
* Engage with local enterprises i.e. Village pubs and shop, for them to get involved
* Learn from each other and support other organisations in the Parish
* Engage with the youngsters of the Village and support Whittington Youth
* Bring the community together and involve local people
* Use Social Media to engage with a wider audience and promote local attractions, businesses and events for local and tourism information

****update**** the basket has been collected but the grey hoodie, black jacket, baby grow and cap are still there. If not collected by next week they will be removed, washed and popped in a Charity bag - thank you

There are several discarded items at the play area by the Castle fields, including the cap being modelled by the spring ride. If they belong to you or someone you know, please can you come and retrieve them, before they are disposed of. Many Thanks
