We are so privileged to have continued support from The Charlotte Hartey Foundation

We're delighted to continue supporting the fantastic work of MusicMOB through a £600 donation from The Charlotte Hartey Foundation.

Music has the power to inspire confidence, encourage creativity and open up opportunities that can last a lifetime. That's why we're proud to help MusicMOB give more young people the chance to learn a musical instrument, regardless of their circumstances.

This academic year, MusicMOB has already delivered instrumental lessons to 116 young people across nine schools, with students learning twelve different instruments. Our latest donation will enable another two or three children to begin their own musical journey.

The Charlotte Hartey Foundation was established to help young people reach their full potential through opportunities that inspire, educate and empower. Supporting organisations like MusicMOB is a wonderful way of continuing that mission.

A huge thank you to everyone at MusicMOB for the incredible work you do to nurture the next generation of young musicians.

This term has seen some really great exam success. Arya (at Weston Rhyn) passed her Grade 1 clarinet with Merit (pictured with her clarinet) and Anabel (at the Marches) passed her Grade 2 cello with Distinction just 6 months after achieving a high Merit in her Grade 1 (pictured with her Oswestry Youth Music Festival certificate). Congratulations to both girls and to their very committed teachers

We are delighted to be awarded funding by Ellesmere Town Council and Ellesmere Rotary assuring we can continue our teaching of cello, violin and singing at Ellesmere Primary. We hear from the school how much the children enjoy and benefit from the lessons. We are very grateful to the people of Ellesmere for this support. A massive thank you to Ridgeway Chorale for coming all the way from Hertfordshire to raise funds for us with a fabulous concert of a wide variety of music yesterday in Oswestry.
The Music MOB students that took part were fabulous, and it provided them with wonderful opportunity to perform in public before an audience.

The Easter holidays are nearly over which means our fantastic Music MOB tutors will soon be back in schools working with our brilliant students! 🎶

We hope everyone has had a great break and managed to enjoy some well earned rest (and maybe even a bit of practice too 👀).
