Friends of Orrell Station

Our lovely community friends, Brighter Better Orrell, are working to have a bench in the village, near the bus stop and living faith church. The bench will be a happy to chat bench, to help combat loneliness. Here’s their fundraising link if you’d like to help

This World Mental Health Day we’d like to help tackle loneliness within our village by raising funds for our own ‘Happy to Chat’ bench.

The naughty elves were at the station yesterday, smashing the glass in our community book box. One of our good elves has repaired the damage and saved all the books from water damage.

Lovely Christmas meal last night, to celebrate our year’s activities. St James club in Orrell could not have made us feel more welcome.
