Mental Health Peer Support: Getting to the Root Causes

Join us for an uplifting and supportive evening focused on improving wellbeing by addressing some of the pressures that can impact our mental health. Through peer support, open conversation, and practical guidance, we’ll explore how financial stress can affect emotional wellbeing and what support is available.

Alongside our peer support session, take part in a relaxing and creative Decoupage Bookmark Workshop, where you’ll create beautiful bookmarks featuring positive affirmations and inspiring quotes to take home as daily reminders of hope, resilience, and self-care.

We will also be offering a Bill Clinic for anyone interested in reviewing their household bills. Our team can help you check whether you’re overpaying for services such as energy, broadband, mobile phones, and more, while exploring alternative options that could reduce costs and relieve financial pressure.

This is a welcoming, non-judgemental space where you can connect with others, share experiences, discover practical solutions, and leave feeling more informed, supported, and empowered.

Tuesday 16th June | 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Hope Street Community Hub & Café
7 Wheatsheaf Walk, Ormskirk

Together, we’ll get to the root causes, build resilience, and create positive change—because hope starts here.
