It will be £2 entry - half of the money will go to the winner and half of the money will go to Coppafeel!

BIG NEWS… our President is going on CoppaFeel! Coppatrek with Giovanna Fletcher and Ella Vaday 🥾

The trek is 100km across Hadrian’s Wall and the Northumberland Coast over 5 days in June. The trek is to raise awareness of Coppafeel’s message but also to raise funds for them to continue their amazing work!

Emilia has a just giving going already so if anyone would like to donate the link is below - we also appreciate any shares on this!

As some of you may know Emilia was meant to go on the trek last year but caught covid 2 days before! so we all have our fingers crossed that this doesn’t happen again 🤞🏼

📣 SU AWARDS NOMINATIONS 📣

AHHHH you guys!!! Your votes have resulted in us being nominated for not one, not two but THREE SU awards!!! 🫶🏼

Our nominations are:
- Community Champion
- SOCIETY OF THE YEAR (The big one!!!)
and
- Internal Collaboration for our Charity Headshave with our besties Edge Hill University Rugby Union (Shout out to these absolute LEGENDS 💚)

We want to use this opportunity to just congratulate all other societies for their nominations! It’s been a great year for societies and its great to see some of our faves getting recognition for everything they’re up to! 🥰

We also want to thank you ALL for your continued support and backing! When UBT came to Edge Hill nearly 2 years ago now we weren’t sure how people would react but the enthusiam and the support youve had to the team has just been incredible! From us at UBT and the whole team at CoppaFeel! we love you all!!! ❤️❤️

And we’re nearly at the end of the longest month of the year! So we thought we would tell you all about our plans for next month…

We have a few events planned which you can book onto:
Rock Painting on the 7th
Tote Painting on the 21st

These events will be £5 each which will all go to Coppafeel and support the costs of materials - to book onto these just drop us a DM!

We also have some events you can just pop along to:
Rock Painting with EHU Residents on the 8th
Women’s football fundraiser on the 9th

Also keep an eye out on the 17th for us dotted around campus giving out freebies!

Tributes are being paid to Edge Hill alumna, musician and disability campaigner Kara Jane Spencer who has sadly passed away at the age of 32.

Sick of Spotify Wrapped?! How about Christmas Wrapped!!! 🎁

We will be offering gift wrapping in the Hub this week for all students and staff! We will be asking for a donation of £1 per gift that we wrap and all of the money will be going to ! 🍒

On Wednesday we will be joined by .society who will be singing us some Christmas Carols 🎤

On Friday we will have a small bake sale to go along with our gift wrapping! 🧁

Get yourself along and get involved in the christmas cheer! 🎅

AND THE NEWS IS OUT… We have our own charity calendar!!! 🍒🍒🍒

Thanks to the amazing photographic_edge who we collaborated with for this!! 📸

We have now opened orders for this! The calendars will be £15 each and that includes the price of the calendar, a donation to Coppafeel and the money for us to get them delivered.

If you are in a team/society involved in the calendar our team are in the middle of coming round to your sessions to show off the calendar so don’t worry!

If you aren’t in the calendar but would still like one to show some support and donate to charity please get in contact! 💬

We will have the calendar on show in the Hub next Wednesday and Friday too if you’d like to come and have a look in person! 😍

We’re hoping to have them ordered before Christmas and delivered in the first 2 weeks of January 🤞🏼
