The Chapel Ormesby

The Chapel Ormesby a welcoming and peaceful place for people to come and be together In 2012 we invested into The Chapel by building a new kitchen and toilets.

The Chapel building in Ormesby was built in the 19th century and has been the home of Light of Life Baptist Church since the 1980s. The new facilities have enabled us to serve the community better through our long-standing drop-in and lunch club on Tuesdays. The Chapel has also hosted youth clubs, children’s holiday clubs and charity fundraising events. In 2015 we opened The Chapel Coffee House an

d ran lots of community events as well as serving light lunches and drinks three days a week. As we move into the second half of 2021 we hope to use this space as a place for the community, with a focus on wellbeing, wholeness and friendship.
