Proud of our much loved young ladies of Manchester for all your contributions and resilience in doing right as you remember your African identity xx

12/11/2025

On the 15th November 2025 all roads will be leading to Manchester at Vermillion, Lord N Street, Hulme, M40 8AD. As we are hosting the Buganda Dinner. It is a cultural event where the dress code is traditional wear and we are asking everyone to make an effort in honouring the dress code.

Our very own the former Miss Uganda 2022-2023 and Miss Manchester 2024-2025 and Miss England Finalist 2024, Vanessa Tendo Naddamba has also invited us. She is a very accomplished and cultured young lady who has a Masters Degree in Project Management.

Vanessa Tendo Naddamba kindly made a video inviting you all to the Buganda Dinner in Manchester. She is a very intelligent, humble, kind, caring and cultured young lady. She spoke Luganda as that is her mother tongue. We need to encourage our children to speak their languages.

Vanessa is a daughter, sister, Model, mentor and community activist. We are proud of all the good work she does in the Ugandan/African community and in other communities at large.

These events allow us to continue honouring our customs, traditions and culture. We interact with each other, enjoy our African food, speak our African languages and we do all this because the children we are raising will listen to what we say. However, they will internalise and recreate what we do.

This ensures the continuation of our culture and traditions.
