Tonight Sixmilecross Junior members took part in the County Tyrone Lecturing competition, placing 2nd, securing their place in the Grand Lodge finals this coming Saturday, 21st February

Sixmilecross District Juniors held their now annual Target Shooting Competition in conjunction with Beragh Orange Order Christmas Bazaar and Fun Night. A competitive entry from the Juniors saw Sammy Clarke win the Secondary School age section and Beragh LOL 796 Challenge Cup. Philp Black winning the Primary School age section and Donaghanie LOL 934 Challenge Cup. The JRs would like to thank Beragh Orange Order for facilitating the competition and for the selection boxes for all the JRs who took part.

"The Superintendents, Officers and Members of Sixmilecross District Junior LOL 237 were deeply saddened by the sudden passing of William (Willie) Mulligan on Sunday Past.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his dear devoted wife Margaret and the entire Family circle.
Willie was a keen supporter of us both in our current guise and past as Beragh "No Surrender" Junior Lodge.
We were particularly thankful for the time he gave to us during our annual Draughts Tournaments, with his evident skill at the game and his patience in teaching the juniors the finer points of the game.
We are eternally grateful to him for unvieling our new bannerette featuring his late brother Johnston.
Willie was a kind hearted and courteous gentleman who will be missed by all who knew him.
