💚 We are continually blown away by the kindness of our community. 💚
As we look to secure the future of Ailsa's Aim and continue supporting cancer patients and families with babies in neonatal care, we have had so many wonderful people come forward and offer to help us fundraise.
One of the very first organisations to put their hand up and say, "How can we help?" was Born 2 Dance Northamptonshire.
We are incredibly humbled and grateful to be working alongside such a fantastic group of people. Their passion, energy and commitment to their local community is truly inspiring, and we know they are going to bring something very special to Aim High Festival 2026.
Not only have they already been helping us behind the scenes, but they will also be taking to the Main Stage at Aim High, showcasing the amazing talent within their dance school.
We cannot wait to see their performances and share what they have to offer with the thousands of people expected to attend.
From all of us at Ailsa's Aim, thank you to everyone at Born 2 Dance for believing in what we do and helping us ensure that we can continue supporting families for many years to come.
Please give their page a follow and show them some love. Community really is at the heart of everything we do. 💚

We are supporting Ailsa’s Aim helping them to raise some much needed funds for their charity.
Check out their page to see the amazing things they do for the community 🫶🏻

To support them, at our last week of classes before summer break we will be holding a cake sale and m***i week at dance!
We ask for a minimum £1 cash donation for m***i & cash donations for the cake sale 🍰
Let’s get together & raise as much as can to help this amazing charity 💗

Together we can achieve more 🥰

💚 We honestly can't quite believe we're saying this... 💚
Aim High Festival 2026 is now over halfway funded! 🎉
To every business, organisation, volunteer, fundraiser and supporter who has got behind this event so far – thank you. Your belief in what we're trying to achieve means the world to us.
When we first started talking about creating a completely free community festival for Higham Ferrers and the surrounding community, we knew it would be ambitious. Thanks to the incredible support we've received, it is becoming a reality.
We have now secured over £14,000 of the £27,000 needed, which is absolutely amazing. However, we still need to raise around £13,000 to bring the whole event to life.
This festival is about bringing people together, creating opportunities for families who may not otherwise be able to afford a day out, showcasing local talent, supporting community groups, and raising awareness of the work of Ailsa's Aim.
We still have some fantastic sponsorship opportunities available and would love local businesses to join us on this journey.
Current opportunities include:
🎡 Funfair Sponsor – £6,000
🎤 Main Stage & Headline Sponsor – £5,000 (exclusive to one business)
📢 Marketing Sponsor – £1,500
👕 Merchandise Sponsor – £1,500
🥁 Steel Pan Band, Headdresses & Workshop – £1,150
📸 Event Photography Sponsor – £1,000
🤹 Walkaround Children's Characters – £550
🎙️ Beatboxing Workshop – £200
We are also delighted to share that:
🐴 We have a very exciting potential sponsor interested in our Hobby Horse Championships.
🧸 A huge thank you to Toymaster for helping reduce the cost of the hobby horses.
🌈 We are currently in discussions with a fantastic local business about sponsoring our SEND Area in full.
Every pound raised and every sponsorship secured gets us one step closer to creating an unforgettable day for the community. Whether you're able to sponsor an entire area, contribute towards a project, or simply share this post, you are helping make something special happen.
If your business would like to be part of one of the biggest free community events Higham Ferrers has seen, we'd love to hear from you.
Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and helping us build something that our whole community can be proud of. 💚

🏖️ Our Charity Caravan Update 🏖️
If we're honest, we never imagined quite how popular our free respite caravan would be.
When we launched the project, we knew there was a need, but we didn't expect so many cancer patients and families with babies in neonatal care to get in touch wanting a much-needed break away.
The caravan is going wonderfully and is already making a real difference to families who need a chance to recharge, make memories and simply escape the reality of hospital appointments, treatments and uncertainty for a few days.
The challenge now is making sure we can continue to fund it. We are actively applying for grants and seeking support to help cover the ongoing costs, but that's what we do – we find a way because we know how important this service is.
The demand has been incredible. In fact, we are now at the point where we are having to turn people away due to lack of availability.
For 2026, we are fully booked for beneficiaries throughout the main season. The only dates currently available are:
📅 16th–20th November
📅 11th–14th December
(Unless booked families do not pay their deposits, in which case dates may become available.)
If you are currently undergoing cancer treatment, living with cancer, or have a baby in neonatal care, please still get in touch. We are keeping a waiting list and will always do our best to help.
We have also started a waiting list for 2027, and demand is already incredible. It is unlikely that we will have any summer holiday availability, as we already have more families interested in August than we have weeks available.
And who knows... perhaps 2027 will be the year we add a second caravan! 🚐💚
The need is certainly there. We never set out expecting this level of demand, but seeing how much joy, rest and normality a few days away can bring to families facing cancer or neonatal care has been truly humbling.
To everyone who has supported this project, donated, shared posts, applied for funding, cleaned, maintained and championed the caravan – thank you. You are helping families create precious memories at one of the most challenging times in their lives.
If you would like to help us keep this project running and perhaps even help us dream a little bigger, you can donate here:

Every donation helps us give families something priceless: time together. 💚

🏃‍♀️☀️ Out of Office... For a Very Important Event! ☀️🏃‍♀️
Today, the emails can wait, the fundraising can wait, and the deliveries can wait...
Because today is all about Sports Day! ❤️
Like many parents, I've swapped my desk for the school field and my charity hat for my mum hat. There are some moments in life that you just don't get back, and watching your child race, laugh, compete and make memories is definitely one of them.
Ailsa's Aim was built around family, and after everything our little family has been through, these are the days that remind us what it's all about.
So if you're waiting for a reply from me, I promise I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Right now, I'm busy being chief cheerleader, snack carrier, water bottle holder and photographer! 📸😂
Wishing all the children taking part today the very best of luck, and to all the parents standing in fields across the country – don't forget your suncream! ☀️
See you all tomorrow!

Which act has got you excited? Who are you hoping we reveal next?

Let's hear your must-see artists in the comments! ❤️

💖👷‍♀️ PINK HATS. BIG HEARTS. 👷‍♀️💖
Behind so much of what we're doing for Aim High Festival - Higham Ferrers is a group of incredible women known as The Pink Builders.
These ladies are out there collecting, fundraising, selling raffle tickets, spreading the word, and generally doing whatever it takes to help us raise the £27,000 needed to deliver a completely FREE community festival on 19th September.
Today, we'd like to say a massive thank you to Workwear Northampton Ltd, who have our Pink Builders t-shirts in print and looking fantastic! We can't wait to see them out and about representing the festival and the community.
And an even bigger thank you to Belgian Pete's Home Improvements, who has very kindly picked up the bill for the t-shirts. 💚
It's support like this that makes such a difference. Every pound we don't have to spend on things like clothing is a pound that can be spent directly on the community, helping us provide free rides, activities, entertainment, wellbeing support and so much more at Aim High Festival.
The support from local businesses has honestly blown us away. It shows exactly what can happen when a community comes together behind a shared vision.
So from all of us at Ailsa's Aim, and from everyone who will benefit from the festival...
Thank you. We genuinely couldn't do this without you.
💚

🐾💚 A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO Higham Ferrers Veterinary Clinic! 💚🐾
Today we'd like to shine a spotlight on one of the newest supporters of Aim High Festival - Higham Ferrers – the fantastic Higham Ferrers Veterinary Clinic & Pet Spa.
If you're from Higham Ferrers, chances are you'll already know just how fabulous they are. Not only do they provide exceptional care for our four-legged family members, but they are also a true pillar of the local community.
Time and time again, they support local causes, local families and local events, always willing to give something back to the town they serve. Businesses like this are what make communities stronger, and we are incredibly grateful that they have chosen to support Aim High.
And on a personal note, our very own Master Moo and Mr Grey are patients there, and we genuinely wouldn't go anywhere else. The care, kindness and compassion shown by the whole team is outstanding. When your pets are part of the family, having a veterinary practice you can trust means everything, and we know they're in the very best hands. 🐱❤️
Their sponsorship is helping us move closer to our goal of raising £27,000 to deliver a completely FREE community festival on Saturday 19th September 2026 at Saffron Road Park.
Thanks to supporters like Higham Ferrers Veterinary Clinic & Pet Spa, visitors will be able to enjoy:
🎡 Free rides
🎵 Live entertainment
🎮 Gaming bus
🚌 Soft play bus
🎨 Face painting and glitter tattoos
🏇 Hobby Horse Championships
🧘 Wellbeing activities
🧩 SEND-friendly spaces
🚗 Rust Bucket Rally vehicle display
🍎 Children's cookery school
🎪 Community groups and charities..and so much more!
From all of us at Ailsa's Aim, thank you for believing in our vision and helping us create something truly special for the people of Higham Ferrers and beyond.
💚 Please help us say thank you by giving this post a like, share and dropping some love in the comments.
📲 And if you're not already following our page, now is the perfect time! We've got lots more sponsors, activities, attractions and exciting announcements still to come.

🏃‍♀️🏅 Hub Closure Notice 🏅🏃‍♀️
Just a quick note to let everyone know that the hub will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday 17th June.
For one day only, I am swapping charity CEO duties for my far more important role of full-time mum as it's Sports Day! ☀️🏃‍♀️
Between hospital appointments, fundraising events, deliveries, festivals, meetings and everything else life has thrown at us recently, some moments are simply too important to miss.
So tomorrow I'll be cheering from the sidelines, probably embarrassing Ailsa, definitely shouting far too loudly, and enjoying being a proud mum for the day. ❤️
We'll be back as normal afterwards.
Thank you for your understanding and wish me luck surviving the parents' race if they rope me into it! 😂
Sara x
