For a moment, daylight pauses… shadows dance… and the whole world looks up.This is God’s work — bold, breathtaking, alive.A solar eclipse reminds us that the Creator is still creating,
still surprising us, still filling the universe with wonder.In this moment of darkness and light,
let our hearts leap with excitement.
Let us say with joy: “God, Your power is beyond anything we can imagine!”

The Wonder of God’s Work”
Gracious God,
As the sun and moon cross paths above us, we pause in wonder.
In the quiet shadow of the eclipse, open our eyes to Your glory.
You set the heavens in motion, You hold creation together,
and You invite us to see Your power in moments big and small.When daylight dims, remind us that Your light never fails.
When the world pauses to watch the sky, remind us that You are near.
Fill us with excitement, joy, and gratitude for the beauty You reveal.
May this eclipse renew our sense of awe and deepen our trust in You. Amen.

🙏 A Prayer for Our New Prime Minister 🇬🇧
As Andy Burnham begins serving as our new Prime Minister, let’s commit to praying for him, his family, and those who will advise and support him.

Whatever our political views, as Christians we are called to pray for those entrusted with leadership.
Please join us in praying that God would grant him:
* Wisdom to make just decisions.
* Courage to do what is right.
* Compassion for every community.
* Integrity in public service.
* Peace and unity for our nation.

May God guide him in every decision, protect his family, and bless the United Kingdom with wise and faithful leadership.

As we celebrate another year of worship, fellowship, and community life at Hollins Church. We’re holding a anniversary and Gift Day service to Count our blessings. Everyone is welcome.
