We're looking for friendly volunteers to help look after the garden at the Over 60's Centre in Chadderton. 🌸🌿

You don't need any gardening experience – just a willingness to help and enjoy being outdoors. Whether you can spare an hour now and then or would like to help more regularly, we'd love to hear from you.

We were proud to bring together the Age UK Greater Manchester Collective last week at Manchester Community Central.

The Age UK Greater Manchester Collective links eight local Age UKs across Greater Manchester: Age UK Wigan Borough, Age UK Bury - The Jubilee Centre, Age UK Salford and Trafford, Age UK Manchester, Age UK Tameside, Age UK Stockport, Age UK Oldham - and us at Age UK Bolton.

At a time when Greater Manchester is in the spotlight, we want to ensure that we are using our collective influence to give the voices of older people the attention they deserve.

Joined by partners from Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Age UK, we discussed the increasingly complex landscape we're navigating in our work for older people in the borough.

We have a collective responsibility to influence the future of in and beyond. Opening up these conversations across local Age UKs in Greater Manchester is just the beginning. 💙🐝
