Our Life Story project likes to illustrate the books we create as beautifully as possible and are asking for your help!

We recently found ourselves in a bit of hot water having used some imagery we didn’t have permissions for (without realising your Honour!) and to avoid any more naughtiness, we wanted to ask whether anyone had any photographs we can use for our Life Story Books and newsletter.

Photographs you’ve taken over the years that you wouldn’t mind sharing of local landmarks and areas, classic holiday shots, work-related photos, hobbies, animals, flowers, vintage objects (eg old tools, baking equipment, books etc). Any with people in must have consent to use and share.

A huge THANK YOU to Abby for taking on the Manchester Marathon in support of Bluebells Day Care at Age UK Oldham 💜
Not only did Abby complete an incredible challenge, she raised funds that will help bring even more joy to our clients through music and entertainment 🎶

Abby’s lovely Grandad is one of our Day Care clients who we love having as part of our Bluebells family and who has enjoyed his time with us. As Abby’s Grandad loves music and singing, we have decided to honour him with how we spend some of the amazing amount of money she raised.

The donation will help us put towards:
✨ Live entertainers and musical activities
✨ New speakers so clients can enjoy music throughout the day

Music can spark memories, lift moods and bring people together - something we know Abby’s grandad will love ❤️

We’re so grateful for Abby’s support, kindness and determination (and we think she looked amazing doing it too! 🏃‍♀️👏)
