👍 DANNII'S PERFECT DAY 👍

On Wednesday night, Dannii - who we support at Stanley Grange Community Association - went to watch a sunset at a beach.

Supported by her personal assistant, Sarah, they went to Blackpool for a walk along the beach and a Chippy Tea. They ended the evening being driven through the lights at Blackpool.

Dannii said, "This has been my perfect day, where everything has felt so calm, watching the sea."

Early this week, Steven - who we support in Bacup - had a superb 3-day break in Liverpool. With his personal assistant Mike, they did lots of shopping and sightseeing.

They went along Mathew Street, visited Liverpool ONE shopping centre and called in to a Wetherspoon's house for food. They enjoyed their break in a swish, modern apartment and drank loads of Pepsi Max!

Many thanks to everyone who made Steven's 3 days away a real joy. 👏👏👏

Next Monday, why not start the week in a most relaxing way at River Beal Café and Community Hub?

On Monday 12th October at 1.30 pm, there is a free Sound Bath session. Let the gentle sound relax you in a peaceful setting.

Please book your place as soon as possible as places are limited. All you need to do is email Kim on [email protected] or Jayne on [email protected].

For the session, please wear soft, comfortable clothing. Mats and blankets are supplied on the day. If you want, you can bring your own comfortable blanket.

What a memorable trip The Friends For Life Group had at the Etihad Stadium today. They went on the Manchester City Football Club Stadium Tour. ⚽️

For nearly 2 hours they had a fabulous tour round City’s stadium which took in the Home Team changing rooms. Everyone looked at the Premier League and UEFA Champions League trophies. They also took turns to sit in the Manager’s seat and saw the Etihad Stadium from the pitch side view.

At the end of the tour, we met up with Haaland in the Press Conference Suite - thanks to the wonders of technology! Daniel bought a replica shirt and, after being on the Stadium Tour, got a 10% discount from his lanyard.

A big thank you to everyone at Manchester City Football Club for making us welcome. We really enjoyed today’s tour.👏👏👏

The Leaping Frogs are back on BBC Radio Manchester with their post Care Sector’s Got Talent Final interview. All we can say now is we had a great night with an excellent following. 🐸🐸

On Saturday afternoon, The Leaping Frogs will be at Empire Rochdale from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. It’ll be a great afternoon of live music and dancing.
