Fun Time Friday’s 224th show saw Kevin and Stugle bring 30 minutes of joy to the people we support in Bradford.

The people we support and their staff team showed their dance moves with Jive Bunny’s and ABBA’s finest tunes keeping their feet on the dance floor.

There was a great party atmosphere and everybody had a lot of fun. Great costumes and great music.

A big thank you to everyone in Bradford. You made us all feel welcome and we can’t wait to do another Fun Time Friday show in Yorkshire very soon. 👏👏👏

🌈✨ PRIDE PARTY AT RIVER BEAL! ✨🌈

What an AMAZING time we had celebrating Pride at River Beal Café and Community Hub , in partnership with our fabulous The Friends For Life Group ! 🏳️‍🌈💖

The afternoon was full of music, dancing, laughter, friendship and Pride spirit! 🎶💃🎉

From Pride Bangers with Kevin the Music Man & Stugle, fantastic performances from Jeanette, Max & Abdul, Pride Bingo with brilliant prizes, to delicious BBQ burgers, sausages and ice cream! 🍔🍦🌈

It was fantastic to come together, celebrate our differences and individuality, and create a welcoming space where everyone could be themselves, have fun and make memories. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us, and to River Beal Café & Community Hub and the Friends for Life Group for organising such an amazing afternoon! 🥰🏳️‍🌈

Last Friday, Louise (who we support in Sale), had a fabulous day trip to Liverpool. With her personal assistant Osayi, they explored the city on a City Sightseeing open-top bus. 🚌

They also visited Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, the most iconic Catholic cathedral. What a nice, relaxed trip. 🙂

EEEEEK! Last Saturday saw superheroes and super sounds at Norden Cricket Club - right on the doorstep of Nick and Darren, who we support in Norden.

Nick and Darren went to Adored Events' festival at the cricket club. As well as seeing some great tribute acts, they bumped into Spider-Man, Chewbacca the Wookie, and Captain Jack Sparrow.

A really super Saturday, and a great way to Do Something New. 🌟

🛶 Canoeing and Kayaking Taster Session 🛶

New Date: Tuesday 15th September 2026 🔹 Meet at 1.00 pm

Try canoeing and kayaking with The Friends For Life Group in Rochdale. Meet up with friends and start a new and exciting activity with friendly tuition. Our taster session is fun and free. Please book as soon as possible to be sure of a place.

Spennithorne Road are hosting a Coffee Morning to raise money for the charity, Breast Cancer Now. There will be hot and cold beverages and cakes, all money collected will be donated. Come along to have a brew, enjoy a sweet treat or chat with friends.

And a visit from our friends at Simply Shetland Ponies.

Last week saw our Celebration Day 2026 at Nunsmere Hall Hotel and what a day it was! 🥳🕺

It was a very special opportunity to bring together the people we support, our colleagues and the wider community to celebrate achievements, enjoy fantastic entertainment and most importantly, have fun and create memories together. 💙

There was something for everyone to enjoy, including:
🐍 An amazing array of animals and reptiles to meet, hold and learn about with critters from Critters Interactive Animal Encounters , Shetland Ponies Pony Patch 🐎and a petting farm courtesy of 🐄along with Alpacas from 🦙
🫧 The incredible Ian Russell Interactives creating some unforgettable bubble magic
🧶 A brilliant craft stall courtesy of the Woolverine Ladies where people could get creative and knit their very own worms
🍰 Delicious food to enjoy throughout the day provided by Nunsmere Hall
🎶 Music, dancing, laughter and plenty of fun! with DJing from
🐸 A fantastic performance from the wonderful
🎤FD’s Got Talent 2026 Final with Will being crowned the winner after a fabulous performance of Sweet Caroline!
🎷The fabulous on the saxophone
🍦Ice Creams available from the Ice Cream Vans
