Girls : Designing Our Space! 🚀

This amazing project gives girls the chance to explore our local area using cool technology like drones, mapping, and digital analysis. By looking at how our everyday surroundings affect how we feel, they will use hands-on models to bring their ideas to life! 🏙️📸

We are putting the girls in the driving seat through co-production, helping them build a real sense of pride in place right here in our community.

Tonight at our Youth Film Project with Computing Reddy the cameras were set up and the film name is locked in, but the real magic happened during our discussion on Youth Voice.

👂​We asked the group a massive question: Do you actually feel listened to?
​That sparked an incredible, raw chat about what it really feels like to be a young person today, and exactly what they would tell the people in power if they had the chance.

This film is a direct platform for young people to share those answers, challenge perspectives, and tell their own stories, their own way.

​Seeing them take total control of the narrative and the cameras is exactly what genuine co-production looks like. 📣

It was fantastic to join Oldham Community Radio 99.7fm/DAB/Device/Online this morning to highlight the incredible upcoming Latics to the Limits challenge 🏃‍♀️

Starting this August, Sophie Hunt (Female Football Pathway Manager at Oldham Athletic Community Trust) is taking on a massive 860-mile run from John O’Groats to Land’s End.

She will be smashing out roughly 35 miles a day for 24 days to raise vital funds for local communities, splitting proceeds between Oldham Athletic Community Trust and Fullcircle nw CIC!

Dawn Fullcircle and Becci Fullcircle have been in Warrington this morning meeting with the incredible Latics To The Limits team!

​We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with them for a truly monumental challenge. Sophie is our awesome fundraiser who will be taking on a grueling 860-mile run from John O'Groats to Land's End—that is 24 days of pure determination! Keeping her moving, healthy, and on track is Sam, who is taking on the massive roles of PT, physio, and logistics manager.
​It was fantastic to sit down today to talk over the route, celebrate the brilliant sponsors who have stepped up so far, and map out what needs to happen next to get Sophie across the finish line.
