Across the UK, there are people who might go a whole day — sometimes much longer — without having a proper conversation with another person.
That’s why The Chatty Café Scheme exists. ☕️
Our Chatty Tables bring people together in cafés, pubs, libraries, community spaces and other welcoming venues for something incredibly simple: a cuppa, a chat and a little human connection.
And we’d LOVE your help to spread the word.

Find your nearest Chatty Café and come along. You don’t need to know anyone, you don’t need a reason and you certainly don’t need to feel nervous. Just pull up a chair — you’ll be very welcome.
