also working along slide our Stay & Play... we will be joined by Homestart who will be delivering a 8 week Play, Learn and Grow sessions....

What is PLG?

PLG is a supportive 8 week coaching programme which focuses on supporting parents to support their child’s learning and development at home. The programme is aimed at children aged 2-5 years old and empowers parents by giving them activity ideas and strategies to try with their child, both in the session and at home.
PLG aims to increase parental confidence and to support children to develop the skills they need to become school ready. The sessions highlight the importance of play and how this can be incorporated into day to day activities.
Each week families leave with an activity pack, allowing them to recreate some of the activities from the session at home.
Each session focuses on a different developmental area, including talk and communication, Listening and understanding, fine and gross motor, early maths and early literacy.
All sessions fully encompass the strand of REAL (Raising early Achievement in Literacy.)
Families can take part through home visits or group sessions which take place in a variety of venues such as family hubs and libraries and Oasis Hubs..

Week Three - Another fantastic week, our extremely talented ladies made healthy tortilla pizza, all took two pizzas home for their tea. The smells coming from the kitchen where out of this world. Last week next week but hoping to do some cooking workshops in September. Drop me a direct message if your interested in joining us and il pop your name on our waiting list. What a lovely afternoon we had at our week 2 cooking on a budget course at The Park Community Hub, Hollinwood. Today we made Tuna Pasta, all made with fresh healthy ingredients. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next week :)
