We had a wild time at Holiday Club this morning! 🦂🐍 We were joined by ZooLab, who brought along some very special guests for our young people to meet, learn about and hold.

There was plenty to discover, with a scorpion, corn snake, gerbils and even a cockroach. Young people had the chance to ask the expert handler questions and learn all about each creature.

A big thank you to ZooLab for bringing the wild to Mahdlo today!

🫶 Junior Zone Coordinator: a permanent role leading our Junior Zone provision for young people aged 8-12.

🚀 Youth Worker Apprentice (Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship): a fantastic opportunity to gain a JNC-recognised Youth Work Degree while working as part of our team.

Saturday afternoon plans: unlocked! 🔓

Level Up is Mahdlo's new Saturday session for 11-16 year olds, where you can hang out, take part in activities, meet new people and get involved.

If you're starting secondary school in September, Level Up is a great way to meet new people before term starts and get a head start before your first day. Or, if you're just looking for somewhere fun with loads to get involved in, we'd love to see you too!

Level Up takes place every Saturday, 4:30-8pm, at Mahdlo Youth Zone.

Girls aged 11+, learn to make music at Mahdlo this summer! 🎵🎧 Join us for a FREE Digital Music Summer School, delivered in partnership with Oldham Council Music Service.

Across four days, participants will explore music production, songwriting and recording with professional musicians, creating their own original track along the way. No prior experience needed!

Taking place on Monday 10, Tuesday 11, Thursday 13 and Friday 14 August, 10:30am - 2:30pm, at Mahdlo Youth Zone. Free food provided.
