Werneth & Freehold Community Development Project and Panda Pre-school

Werneth & Freehold Community Development Project and Panda Pre-school We are a charity that runs classes, training, groups, youth clubs and provides volunteering opportunities from our community centre on Tamworth Street.

We are a voluntary sector organisation set up in 1991. Through our work in Werneth our aim is to build positive relationships across the Werneth and Freehold area. Over the past 20 years we have helped to build a sustainable service to the local community. We hold Benefit Advice Surgeries on Mondays 10:00am -12:00pm - Drop In

Our Work Club is every Tuesday morning, 10:00am-12:00pm providing lapto

ps with internet access with qualified workers to support with job search and C.V’s. We work with young people from aged 6 – 19 in our various youth clubs (mixed and separate) for boys and girls. We own and manage Panda Pre-School in Christ Church Centre on Block Lane for children from 2 years old until they start school. Also due to demand in places for children we have opened Panda Coppice on Werneth Hall Road. Our classes for both men and women run throughout the year using qualified tutors. We also hold short courses and taster sessions. Please keep an eye on our Facebook updates on our new courses and information.
