A huge thank you to all the wonderful women at Compass Learning Centre for your generous food donation to our Food Aid Hub.

❤️ In Loving Memory of Abid Iqbal and His Mother

Today, family and friends are taking on the Great Manchester Run to honour the memory of Abid and his beloved mother, who passed away in December 2025.

Abid spent much of his life helping others. Since his passing, his family have continued that legacy through fundraising, supporting causes close to his heart and raising thousands of pounds for people in need.

This year, they are fundraising for UKeff, helping vulnerable people facing poverty, homelessness, financial hardship and domestic abuse across Greater Manchester.

Together, they have already raised over £8,800 for charitable causes and are now aiming to reach their £10,000 target.

From local donors to local tables.
Keeping Qurbani Local ❤️

A sincere thank you to TNA BROS for their continued support of our local Qurbani programme.

Alongside donating 20kg of Qurbani meat, they also help facilitate Qurbani on behalf of local donors, making it easier for UKeff to collect and distribute meat directly within our community.

Together with a further 15kg contributed by UKeff, the meat was delivered to be cooked for asylum seekers currently living on just £8 per week.

Qurbani is a powerful reminder of sharing our blessings with others. Through partnerships like this, local donations can directly benefit people facing hardship close to home.

This is just a small part of our wider Qurbani distribution programme, with more updates to follow soon, insha’Allah.

May Allah accept everyone’s Qurbani and reward everyone who contributed, volunteered and supported this effort.
