Sunday in St James 👋
It’s been another busy week across the ward, so here’s a little round-up of what I’ve been up to.
🌳 Sholver Millennium Green Day
The week started on Bank Holiday Monday at Sholver Millennium Green - OL1 4QP. Despite the weather, there was a brilliant turnout and it was lovely to see so many people coming along and supporting the event.
A particularly special moment was the planting of a Life for a Life Memorial Forests tree for Ginny Alexander. 🌳
A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the day, took part and made it such a lovely community event.
🏘️ Helping residents
I’ve also been busy with resident casework this week, helping residents with a range of issues including highways and education matters, and following up with the relevant teams where needed.
If there’s something you’re struggling to get resolved, please get in touch and I’ll always do my best to help or point you in the right direction.
📝 Looking ahead to the next Council meeting
I’ve also been looking ahead to the next Council meeting and have been busy drafting a motion on an issue that I know is important to residents.
As always, if there’s something in St James that you think needs reporting, looking into or following up, please get in touch😊
