A free, informal session for anyone about to start chemotherapy, immunotherapy or radiotherapy — giving you the chance to understand what’s ahead, ask questions and talk through any worries before treatment begins.

What a fantastic day we had at Maggie’s Culture Crawl!

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who joined us, supported us, volunteered, donated and helped make the day so special. Your support means so much to Maggie’s Oldham.

A massive thank you to all of our amazing venues, entertainment, performers and food providers for welcoming us along the route and helping make every stop so enjoyable.

GOOD LUCK, PETER, JAMES, WAYNE, PETER & STEVE!

Today is the day! Our incredible Maggie’s Oldham Men’s Group are taking on the Tour de 4 Chris Hoy Bike Challenge — and we couldn’t be prouder of them.

This challenge is about so much more than cycling. It’s about friendship, courage, hope and supporting one another through some of life’s toughest moments.

Maggie’s Oldham has become a lifeline for these men, a place where they can talk openly, laugh together, share experiences and find strength in one another. Today, they’re giving something back to the place that has given them so much.

They’re riding in memory of loved ones and for everyone affected by cancer, helping to ensure that other men and their families can find the same support, friendship and hope at Maggie’s.

So, Peter, James, Wayne, Peter & Steve… pedal hard, look after each other and know that everyone at Maggie’s Oldham is behind you!

OUR ABSOLUTE SUPERSTARS JUDE & RYAN!

What an incredible challenge! Our wonderful Maggie’s visitor Jude, along with Ryan, took on the ultimate fundraising challenge — and they both jumped out of a plane to raise vital funds for Maggie’s Oldham!

Maggie’s has supported Jude throughout her own cancer journey, helping her navigate some incredibly difficult times and providing a safe, welcoming space where she could find support, friendship and someone to talk to.

Jude said:
“Maggie’s has supported me throughout my cancer journey and helped me so much, helping me navigate through some really difficult times. I wanted to give back to a service that is so vital for people living with cancer. So, I decided to jump out of a plane… and Ryan said, ‘I’m coming with you!’”

And true to his word, Ryan joined Jude and took the leap too!

We are so incredibly proud of them both for taking on such a huge challenge and raising vital funds for Maggie’s Oldham. Their incredible support will help us continue to be there for people living with cancer and their loved ones, offering a place where people can find practical, emotional and social support whenever they need it.

And you can still support Jude & Ryan!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEER LYNN!

What an incredible achievement! A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteer Lynn, who hosted a fantastic Garden Party and raised an amazing £1,265 for Maggie’s Oldham!

We are so incredibly grateful for all the time, energy and love that went into making the day such a success. Every penny raised will help us continue to support people living with cancer and their families here in Oldham.

A special thank you must also go to all the wonderful volunteers who supported Lynn on the day — we couldn’t do what we do without people like you!

Lynn was so grateful for everyone’s help that she even hosted a special thank-you dinner to celebrate all those who helped make the Garden Party such a success.

Thank you, Lynn, and everyone involved, for your incredible support. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful Maggie’s community!
