🎪4 WEEKS TO GO! 🎪

Hey with Zion PTFA is so excited to introduce our very first Circus Fundraising Event!

📅 Saturday 11th July
📍Hey with Zion Primary School, Lees
🎭 Two spectacular shows: 1:00pm & 2:30pm🎟️ Early Bird Tickets just £8 per person until 27th June
❗️All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Join us for an afternoon packed with fun for the whole family, including:
🍭 Candy Floss
🍿 Popcorn
🎡 Funfair & Carnival Sweet Treats
💰 Pocket Money Stall
🎟️ Raffle
✨ Festival Hair & Face Glitter
🦋 Glitter Tattoos
🎪 And, of course, our amazing circus performances!

This is a community event and everyone is welcome, so please help us spread the word. Invite your family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and anyone who would love a fun-filled afternoon while supporting our school community.

🎉 HWZ Sponsored Colour Run – New Date Confirmed! 🎉

The HWZ Sponsored Colour Run is back on and now taking place on Friday 26th June!

🕒 EYFS – 3:00pm
🕞 Years 1–6 – 3:30pm

We are looking forward to an afternoon full of colour, fun and fundraising!

If you had already volunteered for the original date and are still available please let us know. Alternatively, if you are now free on the 26th and can help us please sign up here - volunteersignup.org/XRJL9

✅ Sponsor forms can be returned beforehand or on the day. If you have not yet received your form or this has been misplaced please get in touch.

🏆 The winning class from each year group with the highest collective sponsorship total will receive a treat!

Emma here - Thankyou for the appreciation 🥰 I’ve hijacked the page to say;

✨ A huge Thank You to Rebecca ✨

Our chair and Joint Treasurer, and literally the other half of the PTFA team.

Behind every event, activity, and special moment organised by the PTFA is this absolute diamond.

Rebecca 100% goes above and beyond and gives up hours and hours of her personal time making sure every event runs smoothly — all while helping create amazing memories for our children.

She’s everything from a fab designer, a researcher, a budgeter, problem solver, the best email writer and this PTFA would 100% not run without her.

A huge thankyou for everything you do im so grateful to Hey With Zion for bringing us together!

As a PTFA, we would like to take this opportunity during Volunteer Week to thank every single volunteer who gives their time, energy, and support throughout the year.

Your support does not go unnoticed and we are truly grateful.

During Volunteer Week, we want to take a moment to give special recognition to Emma — our Secretary and Joint Treasurer, and truly one half of the PTFA team.

Behind every event, activity, and special moment organised by the PTFA is this amazing lady.

Emma’s hard work, dedication, and commitment behind the scenes often go far beyond what people see. She gives up countless hours of her personal time planning, organising, problem-solving, and making sure every event runs smoothly — all while helping create experiences our children will remember and enjoy.

Her impact reaches far beyond paperwork and planning. Through every event, activity, and opportunity created, Emma helps build a stronger, happier school community for all of our children.

On a personal note, as Chair, I want to thank Emma for the strength, guidance, support, and encouragement she gives me constantly. Having someone who shares the workload, offers advice, and keeps everything moving forward makes an enormous difference, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Emma, thank you for your endless dedication, your patience, your ideas, your time, and your heart. The PTFA is stronger because of you.

🎨 Colour Run Update 🎨

Unfortunately, our sponsored Colour Run has been cancelled due to safety concerns relating to the water logged pitch. We have discussed with school the use of the all weather pitch however, due to it being uneven this was also not deemed in suitable condition to proceed.

We are aware that many children will be extremely sad and disappointed by this news however, are waiting to hear from school as to whether an alternative date can be found and hope to update you all as soon as possible. If a new date cannot be found we will begin to issue refunds.
