Looking for something meaningful for your teenager this summer?

Throughout the summer holidays, Teen Lives Matter will be delivering our fully funded Nature Connections and Family Connections programmes from Littleborough Fire Station and surrounding local green spaces thanks to Action Together and the LiveWell Fund.

These sessions are designed to help young people step away from the pressures of everyday life, spend time outdoors, build confidence, make new connections and learn practical wellbeing tools they can take forward into the future.

Young people will have opportunities to:
๐ŸŒฟ Explore local nature and green spaces
๐ŸŒฟ Learn about wellbeing and emotional resilience
๐ŸŒฟ Build confidence and communication skills
๐ŸŒฟ Develop stronger relationships with family members
๐ŸŒฟ Take part in hands-on activities, challenges and team-building experiences
๐ŸŒฟ Learn practical life skills in a relaxed and supportive environment

Our Family Connections programme provides a unique opportunity for parents/carers and young people to spend quality time together, strengthen communication and create positive shared experiences.

And Andrew's penguin also enjoyed Linkin Park at Download, the first band Andrew ever went to see in concert. Kev, Andrew's dad who was at the concert said he found this song very emotional and hadn't intended to video it. Triggers often come out of the blue.

Andrew's penguin has recently been to Download Festival. Andrew never went but penguin managed to find bands that Andrew loved and saw in concert. This one is Pendulum, a band that was a firm favourite of the whole family, having seen them together at The Prodigy Dance Festival.
