Narinder has held the fort for book club, taking the books out today and joining Sam, Carol, John and Ange SBC.Family. Meatballs and pasta served, books and hot drinks shared. I won’t personally be going out for a little while whilst I am on a bit of a healing journey 🧡 Missed everyone and grateful for all the lovely kind thoughts and messages, and that the service carries on regardless. Thank you all and to Narinder for keeping book club going!

Well that was a busy one today! So not many pics, just the lovely books! Lots of which were taken today. Does our hearts good to see your kindness result in people’s pleasure.

Ange had a mountain of baked potatoes, sausages, chilli, cheese, cakes, scones and rolls. Carol and John brought teas and coffees, treats, and clothes. Narinder and I brought treats and books. Sam brought toothbrushes and toothpaste. Lots to share and give as always: Teamwork, with lots of good conversations.

A lovely gentlemen passed by and stopped to donate cash. The kind traffic warden left us alone (phew). And everyone was happy to be fed and cared for. We always wish there could be a solution for peoples troubles, but we will be there in the meantime to support however we can.

Busy one today, with lots of new faces, and some regulars. Out with Ange SBC.Family, Carol, John and Narinder. Hot dogs, sandwiches, cakes, treats, clothes, blankets, and hot drinks. Our massive bag of books was halved today, so lots went away with something to read, which makes us glad 😌

A lovely gentleman passed by who had toothpaste and toothbrushes for people, thank you Tim. People are so good 😊

Thanks to all who donate cash for SBC Family funds, and to everyone who donates books, clothes etc. It is all very much appreciated by us and everyone who comes along.

Great seeing everyone today, with Narinder, Ange , Carol, John and Pete.

Everyone raved about Ange’s turkey stuffing rolls, John’s tablecloth lol, and many treats and cake, hot drinks etc. Pete had lots of Greggs treats for all too. Lots of new faces and a few regulars. Lovely to talk with all.

We saw a couple of young men leave with books, it makes us happy to know the small things we all do together, do make a difference 💚

Thank you to everyone who donates the cash that pays for SBC to supply food, and to those who donate books. It’s all so appreciated.

We will be back out on the 3rd Sunday in May.
