Good morning all.

Don't forget! this is the last week Sensorium will be open, then we temporarily close for the start of our complete transformation 🤩

It's honestly going to be amazing and we can't wait to share it with you! When we re-open, we'll operate as our normal timetable 4 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

So if you haven't been yet or simply want one last play, book in for this week! ✨

We also have Pokémon club on Saturday too 🤩

I'll be in today to set up and show the activities later.

Wow!! Words cannot describe the amazing act of kindness this morning 🥹🥹💖

A lovely gentleman Tommy Ahearne, made a huge donation of £1000!! to Sensorium 🥹

We are incredibly grateful and this will make a huge difference. You are a true hero! ❤️ THANK YOU!! ❤️

This is perfect timing, as we will be closing from Monday 07th September to begin phase 2 and redevelop the rooms to what we always dreamed of 🤩

🌧️ What a beautiful sight this morning! After so much sunshine, the rain is very much needed right now. 💙

It's been such a difficult time for many across our rural communities. Our firefighters have been working incredibly hard tackling wildfires, while farming families are facing the ongoing worry and impact of bluetongue, alongside the pressures caused by the exceptionally dry weather. 🚒🌾

We might only be a little CIC, but we'd like to do something small to show that we see you and we appreciate you.❤️

So from next week, firefighters and local farming families are welcome to visit Sensorium FREE of charge with their children.

No special event and no fuss – just come in, have a cuppa, let the children play and enjoy some family time on us.

Please message our page before visiting so we can arrange your free entry.

And if you know a local firefighter or farming family who could use this little gesture, please tag or share this with them. ❤️

Garden update:
Our garden is closed for play this week due to the wet weather while we give it a tidy and do some maintenance.

Buggies can still be left outside to the right – we recommend folding them or using a rain cover. ☔

Wow! What an amazing morning with Rumi for our K Pop party 🤩

Truly an amazing experience for all, seeing some of the anxious children arrive wearing headphones and then removing them, says it all 🥹

If you've ever taken your neurodivergent child to a party and felt fear or guilt, please bring them to Sensorium! We have three separate play rooms, including our quieter sensory room in the back, plus the ever popular hidey hole under the stairs.
Smiles all round 🥰

A massive thank you! to Kate (Rumi) for providing a fantastic show and being so supportive with the children. Thank you to all who attended and supported our event, we were fully booked and raised £230!! 😍

This goes straight back into Sensorium and supports many more families to come ✨
