Hi everyone
I need to share something honestly from me.
We were hoping so much to reopen The Safe Space on Wednesday 14th, but the last couple of weeks have been incredibly hard for our families. My husband’s health has taken a serious turn, and I’ve had to be at home far more than I ever expected. Our children have needed us, and family has had to come first. I haven’t been able to step in and support Sensorium the way I normally would, and I feel awful about that.
Sam has been trying to hold everything together on her own while dealing with her own family struggles, sick children, and delayed deliveries. She’s been carrying far too much, and she’s struggled. Not because she isn’t capable, but because life has been unbelievably heavy for her lately. She needs more support, and I want everyone to understand just how hard she’s been trying.
Despite everything, we are determined to make The Safe Space- Sensorium the warm, safe, supportive place our families deserve. This is a difficult moment, but it won’t stop us. We will be back on track soon.
We still have a lot of manual work to finish, and we’d be so grateful for any help. We’re holding volunteer days on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th. Can you help? Even an hour would make a huge difference? If you can help, please comment below and we’ll be in touch.
Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding. It’s been a really tough time for both of us, and your support means more than you know.
