It’s July, and the new month brings a new set of jobs to get stuck into at Beechgrove. Calum harvests the shallots that were planted last year, and there is a look at lawn care.

We have another busy week at Hope Kitchen. We are open today, Monday, at the cafe for a delicious homemade vegan soup and a tuna salad as well as cake!
If you haven't checked us out either at the New Hope Cafe or the Green Shoots Garden why don't you make this week to give us a try!

We are very excited to have had some of our volunteers and volunteer teams shortlisted for Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface Volunteer of the Year awards. If any other Oban based organisations have also had their volunteers shortlisted we are looking at ways we can coordinate travel to the Dunoon Awards ceremony. Please can you get in touch.

Peugeot Tepee Expert £3500 Ono. MOT until end July. Great for gardeners, bikers, camper conversion. Back seats can be removed. The back is wheelchair accessible with a ramp and a winch system. Currently seating for 7 people +1 wheelchair.

Here’s what’s on at Hope Kitchen this week:
- On Tuesday, our craft group will be designing cork coasters.
- On Wednesday afternoon, we’ll be showing a cheeky penguin movie.
- And on Friday, we have our quiz and dinner.

This Wednesday, our Wellness Walk is in partnership with Adventure Oban and will be taking place around Dunstaffnage Castle. If you’d like to join us, we’ll be meeting in the Corran Halls car park as usual at 10:15am and catching the 005 bus out to Dunbeg.

We loved having Helen from Wild About You in to lead our craft group in some watercolour painting this week. It was a joyfilled time with everyone having a go, and the results are proudly up for all to see!
