Oh what a night!
On behalf of Oban and Lorn Lions, A BIG thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, ate the curry, bought raffle tickets, listened to Archie MacCulloch speaking about prostate health and then to the wonderful Friday Collective.
Special thanks to the Rockfield Centre for hosting and cooking lovely grub. Also to the band and Archie. Special mention to Ada Daly who masterminded the event on behalf of the Lions and to Stacy Felgate who managed the Rockfield contribution. We also had help from a distance from long time Lion Jim Edge.
We’re still counting the ticket money, donations and raffle sales and will let you know the final amount very soon. We shall also let you know what happens next!

Good Day Oban,

Oban and Lorn Lions club is proud to announce that the Great Oban Raft Race is going ahead on 20 September at 3 pm. The event is being run by Oban Rotary Club in 2025 and we are very very grateful to them for taking this on to make sure that the usual fun can be had.
