The hall committee would like to thank all the nice strong guys who came to help dismantle the old shed tonight.

The community garden will hopefully benefit from some panels that are still sound, and the rest will be removed and burned, (but not just at the moment due to the dry conditions)
The exterior painting and some remedial work will be starting very soon, thanks to the generous bequest from the late Hugh May.
We’re looking forward to seeing the hall looking smart again !

UPDATE….
The 2 large sheets of hardboard have now been taken, but the new ‘owner’ is more than happy to share them if anyone needs some.
The dehumidifier is going back to its owner.
The 2 small and one large table still there and will be disposed of shortly.

We are hoping to demolish the shed next to the village hall later this week. All that's now left is shown in the photos :-
2 large sheets hardboard
1 x large table (foldable legs, but in a poor state)
1 x dehumidifier (old, no idea if its in working order)
2 x smaller tables (non collapsible and rusty legs)
Do these belong to anybody or are they of any use to anyone ?
If not they will be disposed of along with the shed so please collect soon.
(The ladders are for hall use and will be kept)

Apparently, Luing green bins will now be emptied on Tuesday 22nd April.

Notification of a power cut by SSEN for PA34 4UB, (which includes the hall) , on Wednesday 30th April, between 9am and 3pm.
