A cold strong wind and a cruel sea kicked up some proper conditions for day one of National Coasteering Charter Andy S is running a Coasteering Guides Training course today here in Oban. Inside and outside theoretical and practical skills were discussed and experienced.

Day two for Jonathan today bagging two more Munros on the Ballachulish horseshoe traverse with Andy. It was a much drier day. Although the clagg only lifted occasionally, the atmosphere was stupendous! Well done Jonathan a big day in some tremendous situations.

We were back working with the p6, p7 outdoor adventure learning group from St Columba's Primary School today. The team were so happy to back outside after their summer break. A day of contrasts today, their goal to get to the summit! The highlight being reaching and being in the clouds. The experience of the change of atmosphere and conditions was powerful for them. Lots of discussion about flora, the weather and how we look after ourselves in the hills. And simply they had a lot of fun whilst learning new things.
