Oakworth Village Hall We are a village hall in Oakworth, West Yorkshire. Threatened with closure and taken over by Oakworth Community Trust, a motley group of local volunteers.

Oakworth's Village Hall with 3 rooms to hire, kitchen and toilet facilities. Also many local organisations and business running groups and classes throughout the week.

Deck the halls and Ho Ho Ho!

As we look back on 2025, our hearts are full. We’ve laughed together, danced together, and had the privilege of helping families across the village celebrate their most important moments.

But none of it — not a single event, smile, or raised glass — would have happened without you.

To everyone who bought a ticket, bought a drink at the bar, or simply showed up to support us… thank you. 🙏

And to our amazing volunteers — you are truly the Hall’s heroes. Your time, kindness, and hard work keep this place alive. We couldn’t do it without you and we tip our hats to you, your warmth and your generosity. Thank you. 🙏

So, as the sun sets on another year in our little corner of Yorkshire, we’re reminded just how lucky we are to be part of such a warm, joyful, spirited community.

From The Handsome Man and everyone at Oakworth Village Hall, we wish you nothing but love, peace, and joy this Christmas. ❤️🎅✨

Well folks, Mr and Mrs Claus have waved goodbye to our little corner of this great land and are heading off to their next stop on a very busy world tour. Before long, they’ll be back at the North Pole, feet up briefly, readying themselves for the big night.

As you can imagine, welcoming the most famous couple on the planet doesn’t just happen by magic alone. It takes time, effort, and a small army of wonderful people. And once again, we were lucky enough to have exactly that. So, with enormous thanks and in absolutely no particular order, we’d like to raise a festive hat to:

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that bought a ticket and came to see us last night for our first ever Comedy Night. It's support from the fabulous people of Oakworth that allows us to be here, and to do our bit for our little corner of the world. 🙏

As you know, this and all other events are organised and staffed entirely by volunteers, in order that we can raise funds to keep your village hall open. We couldn't do this without our volunteers, so we'd also like to offer special thanks to:

Our Story

Oakworth's Village Hall (locally known as Holden Hall) is now run by residents under the charity name of Oakworth Community Trust. Our building has 3 rooms for hire, a kitchen, a stage and toilet facilities. As well as hiring the rooms, the Trust also provides bar and catering services for events including birthday parties, christenings, weddings etc... Booking enquiries should be emailed to [email protected]
