CLOSED ! Stokesley Road going south from Guisborough Road is closed -‘access only’ refers to houses only. Access to the GP Surgery by car is only from Poole Roundabout with signs showing the issue. The workers are standing next to the drain trench which will shortly turn 90* and go towards Guisborough Road for a short distance before turning east towards the Community Centre car park. This work is likely to last for some time. I liaised with the Practice Manager who is informing patients too. Please set off for the surgery or pharmacy bearing this information in mind. If you are walking along there the footpath is open with a small diversion around the safety fence

New bin installed next to the field near the GP surgery! No excuse now -none at at all- for throwing dog poo bags into the bin compound! I met two managers from Area Care to discuss making a tree safe in Triangle Wood and asked them to visit this site to seek some help. Call received this morning to confirm installation and thanked them for their help.
Took the opportunity to also see further progress on the community centre.

Very disappointing to hear that the bins store has been broken into again at the GP surgery . This seems to be due to ‘frustrated’ dog walkers not being able to access the bins but store is locked because it contains clinical waste. The other day three bags of waste were thrown into the store and it’s extraordinary because the bin that was installed at the path into the GP surgery is only a short distance away. Finally breaking the fence is criminal damage. Please report any sightings of those responsible and those individuals please stop.

Neighbourhood Drop in- 2nd opportunity! At Methodist Church Hall 6-8pm.
The event on Saturday was a great opportunity for people to meet different groups and discuss the future of the community centre - we had some good feedback on the event and many useful suggestions and connections!
Pop in for a quick chat ( and be home in time to watch the Boro😉).Sorry no children’s activities but art entries ( design a logo for the community centre or create a picture of Nunthorpe ) are still welcome!
