Planning a kids birthday party? One of the kits we have to lend is a party set so you can borrow everything you need and then just wash it and return it to the library. Save on waste without needing to store anything afterwards! We have another set in blue too.

Our Library of Things is a community project run by local volunteers making it easier and cheaper to fix and repair things yourself, especially if you don't have much space at home to store tools. You can join for just £5 per year and many items cost £1 or less to borrow! You can see all of the amazing things we have for you to borrow on our website at beestonlot.lend-engine-app.com.

We're adding a few more "things" to the BLoT...

If you have a big lump - e.g. of concrete or tree roots - in the way of your gardening or another outdoor project, then maybe you need a PICKAXE!

You can borrow one from Beeston Library of Things for £1 a day:

Remember that to borrow from BLoT, you first need to join the scheme online for £5 a year. Then you can book out items on the website. ONCE BOOKED you can then pick up your item from Beeston (book) Library during their opening hours. Take your reference number along.

The Beeston Library of Things aims to hold items that you may only need a few times a year (or a life), so that we are reducing waste by lots of people storing these items....
