Update from Beeston Rylands Councillor Teresa Cullen:
"Just heard that we are to have three mobile testing units (MTUs) in Broxtowe in response to the upsurge in Covid-19 cases. One in Devonshire Avenue Car Park, one at Toton Park and Ride and one at the Sun Inn Car Park in Eastwood.

Thanks are due to Leader of the Council, Milan Radulovic, the Police, NHS and the officers at Broxtowe Borough Council for working so hard to bring us this swift response.

Let's work together to get this back under control so we don't face a local lock down."

Local fruit & veg, dairy, eggs, wines, beers & ciders, breads, pies, cakes, biscuits, ice cream, pickles & sauces, teas & locally roasted coffee. Plus much, much more. Thanks to funding from Broxtowe Borough Council and some personal donations we have been able to launch the ABC Mutual Aid Fund. This exists to provide small amounts of financial aid for emergency needs during the Covid-19 outbreak. This might be for things like paying utility bills, helping with rent, buying essential household items or reimbursing a volunteer for out of pocket expenses. The fund is initially limited to a payment of £50 per household.
