Anchors and Juniors have been creating their ultimate chocolate bars, while Company and Seniors explored the pros and cons of social media for young people and the speed, precision and dedication of the competitors involved in the Winter Olympics.

Speaking of which our 75th Panto Treasure Island will be taking place from 29th Jan, intense rehearsals will be taking place from here on in and tickets are still available for all performances. 🎄 Festive Fun 🎄
Our Anchors and Juniors had a great night enjoying Christmas charades, festive word searches, and making Christmas biscuits! 🍪✨
Meanwhile, our Company and Seniors took on the Big Fat Quiz of the Year — part of this Autumn’s BB competition. Teams across the UK are taking part, with scores being added to a national leaderboard… and the highest-scoring team will win a £50 voucher! 🏆💙

This evening…
⭐ Anchors have played Christmas story games and made cards for those who may feel lonely this season.
🧗 Juniors went rock climbing at the local centre — thank you to the Battalion for organising!
✨ Company looked at Advent and different beliefs.
🌲 Seniors continued Advent work and making pallet Christmas trees, sanding and staining the wood.

👾 Anchors had a roaring time with Monster Bingo, Find the Monster, scratch-art crafts and Scare Time games.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Juniors learned about the significance of St Andrew’s Day and made their own shortbread.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Company got into the Scottish spirit by designing tartans, taking on a quiz and exploring some Edinburgh Fringe–style activities.
🔥 Seniors have been on the tools! 🔨🎄 They’re crafting pallet Christmas trees to raise funds at the Christmas Fair on 6th December.

Anchors had a fun week exploring the Fruit of the Spirit — patience! ⏳ We played games, wrote letters to our Brigade President 💌 and even tested our ability to “wait it out” for extra sweets 🍬.
Juniors learned about the meaning of Advent 🕯️, made their own Advent wreaths, and enjoyed some games 🎄.
Company & Seniors tackled a mixed-messages rugby game 🏉, worked on skills, and ended with an important discussion on politics 💬.

We’ve had another brilliant week across all our sections

🏠 Anchors built their own indoor dens and showed off their decorating skills with some very tasty gingerbread men!
💡 Juniors got active with a glow-in-the-dark themed night, exploring what it means to be a light in the darkness.
🎯 Company & Seniors spent some time discussing ways to alleviate pressure during exam season, followed by an Ashes face-off game and Taskmaster-style challenges that brought out everyone’s competitive edge.

This week, as we returned from the half-term break, we’ve been preparing to remember those who gave their lives in service.
⚓ Anchors enjoyed games and made poppy tea light jars.
🌺 Juniors worked together to create a poppy display and made delicious chocolate apples.
🎖️ Company learned about the National Memorial Arboretum before finishing with some dodgeball fun!
🍪 Seniors shared remembrance devotions and baked Anzac biscuits.
