Sri Lanka Flood Relief Support

The Sri Lankan Kidney Foundation provided LKR 500,000 in immediate flood relief to support communities affected by the recent floods in Walapane.

This support included dry food and garments, with 75 relief packs distributed through:

• Vatarakgoda Rajamaha Viharaya
• Ilukpathana Viharasthanaya
• Ilukkumbura Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya

Special thanks to Ven. Marassana Saddhananda Thero (Leicester Buddhist Vihara) and Mr. Ranga Ekanayake for generously supporting transportation, packing, and volunteer care.

We remain committed to continuing humanitarian support, including medical assistance and hospital refurbishment for affected regions.

🌿 Uplifting Lives Through Compassion | SLKPA Weekly Support Programs 🌿
September – November 2025 Highlights

Over the past several weeks, the Sri Lanka Kidney Patients’ Association (SLKPA), together with the generous support of the Sri Lankan Kidney Foundation (SLKF), continued its heartfelt mission to support kidney patients across the country.

💚 Support Provided on 27th Sept, 3rd Oct, 18th Oct, 1st Nov, 8th Nov, 15th Nov & 22nd Nov 2025:
At each weekly meeting, we were humbled to provide:

🩺 Free Dialysis Treatment Vouchers
Each week, vouchers worth Rs. 8,779.20 were distributed to patients undergoing dialysis, easing the financial burden on many families.

🧡 Dialysis Kits Donation
Thanks to the unwavering kindness of Sri Lankans living in abroad, the SLK Foundation funded Rs. 61,454/- each week to provide dialysis kits for 7 kidney patients.

💊 Essential Medicines
We also distributed vital medications not supplied by hospitals, ensuring that patients received the treatment and care they urgently need.

These continuous efforts are a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and global Sri Lankan generosity. Together, we stand by our kidney patients—offering hope, healing, and dignity.
