In the Catholic Church, the entire month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary ✝️
Core Meaning and Tradition :
• Month of the Rosary : The Catholic Church sets aside each month of the year for a specific devotional theme, and October honors the Most Holy Rosary.

• Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary : Celebrated annually on October 7, this feast day is the main reason the entire month has this dedication.
Pope St. Pius V established the feast (originally called Our Lady of Victory) to thank Mary for protecting the Christian fleet at the historic Battle of Lepanto in 1571, where a victory was attributed to praying the Rosary.
• Papal Promotion : Pope Leo XIII heavily promoted this devotion in the late 19th century, encouraging the faithful to use the Rosary as a spiritual tool for peace in families and the world.
Fatima apparitions also concluded in October (October 13), where Mary urged daily Rosary prayers for peace. 🙏🙏🙏
