Recovery Crew

Recovery Crew A social media page for people with mental health problems and their friends. We want to celebrate friendship and how it's helped us when times have been hard.

Some of us have used mental health services, some of us have known hard times. We all want to talk abut what our friends mean to us, and explore - through word, picture or music - how friends have helped us, influenced us, or stayed by us, as we try to find or path to recovery. We'd like you to share your experiences of friendship with us. We're interested in old friends, new friends, virtual frie

nds, friends of friends. We'd love you to get creative - send us anything from a story or a quote, to a doodle or video. Let your friends know they you've celebrated them. Indeed, share widely. You never know when you may need your "keepers of me", nor when they may need you. We will put some information that we've found useful on this site and develop resources about friendship and mental health recovery - but we want you to help us build it. Let us know what you know what you like and don't like, but please stay constructive especially if it's about something from another site user. After all, you may be one click away from finding a new friend. One of the people helping to run the site is researching the importance of friendship in mental health recovery. As part of this research, you may be asked if we could use what you have shared via this site. If you're interested in participating in the research, please let us know.
