Fire Walk 2026

I’m pleased the be able to finally announce the final figure that was raised by Fire Walk 2026.
A combination of the funds getting stuck with the collection platform, life, and a couple of last minute offline donations delayed things so apologies to everyone for this.
Minus fees taken by Go Fund Me the total raised was £3588.65, which has been split equally between The National Red Plaque Fire Service Memorial and PTSD999. The funds are now with them and I look forward to seeing how the money is used in the months to come.
A final thank you to everyone who made the event possible. Thank you to all my wonderful sponsors who covered expenses for the team, or donated, the team including my Dad and Sister who showed so much resilience getting up the mountain, and of course to all of you amazing people who donated.
I will do my best to try and update when the new building is started at the Red Plaque Memorial… but as previously stated… I’m not an influencer and life sometimes gets in the way.

I’ll also share the screen recording for transparency.
All those who donated £20 or more and ensured I had a method of contacting them were assigned a number, then the random number generator was used to pick four lucky winners. My drinking partner (Trendy) acted as my witness so everything was above board.
The numbers in order were 33, 14, 22 and 34.
I’ll be in touch shortly to arrange getting your prizes to you. (I start back on shifts tomorrow so it might not be until next week when I’ve figured out which way is up again!)
Congratulations to the lucky winners, and thank you to everyone who has donated. The Go Fund Me will be open until the end of May as I’ve been invited to a couple of events so any last minute donations will still be greatly received.

Next month I will be attending the National Red Plaque Fire Service Memorial for their second anniversary event and the unveiling of their brand new K9 memorial.
The funds that have been raised through Fire Walk 2026 will be split between the National Red Plaque Fire Service Memorial and .
I’m looking forward to seeing the memorial team again and being part of such a great anniversary event in May.
