🌍 Over on our Marine Programme, volunteers have the chance to meet some local snakes during the Snake Show! 🐍

It’s an amazing opportunity to see some more wildlife in Sri Lanka and don’t worry - these snakes are handled by a professional and don’t pose a threat.

Sri Lanka is home to around 100 documented species of snake, around 50 of which are endemic. They act as both predators and prey, crucially maintaining ecological balance.
