What a performance from Harvey last night! He showed real grit, determination, and character in a thrilling top of the bill fight. A huge effort and plenty to be proud of. This is just the beginning for Harvey 🥊🔥
It was not to be for Harvey Sturton as he came up short in his challenge for the Midlands area lightweight Vs Jamie Edwards though his stock rose in defeat. ⬆️
Congrats to Edwards on being crowned champion and playing his part in a fantastic fight 🔥.
It will be a strong contender for midlands fight of the year, where at the final bell there was only one round in it where another for Sturton would have resulted in a draw. ⚖️
Sturton was deducted a point in round 3 and suffered a knockdown in round 5 ⬇️, where he showed character to come back from. Without them 2 10-8 rounds it could have looked 👀 very different.
It's a huge effort at a young age in just his 6th 🥊 pro fight and the experience will be priceless for him as we still have belief that he has a massive future in the sport. 📈🚀.
