A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our summer concert on Saturday!

It was wonderful to perform to such a supportive audience and to share an evening of music together. A very special thank you to the outstanding soloist Aminata Kanneh-Mason whose talent and artistry made the concert even more memorable.

Thank you to everyone who performed, volunteered, and came along to support us.

We look forward to seeing you again in the autumn.

The Djanogly Community Orchestra is returning for our Summer 2026 Concert on Saturday the 11th of July! 🎻🎶

We are thrilled to bring a magnificent classical programme to life, featuring a very special guest soloist:
🎼 Tchaikovsky – Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture
🎻 Mozart – Violin Concerto No. 5 (featuring the brilliant soloist Aminata Kanneh-Mason)
🎼 Dvořák – Symphony No. 3

🎶 The Djanogly Community Orchestra returns on the 28th of March 2026 at St Mark’s Church, Woodthorpe for a vibrant spring concert.

Enjoy a fantastic programme featuring:
🌿 Coleridge-Taylor – Petite Suite de Concert
🏔 MacCunn – The Land of the Mountain and the Flood
🎻 Brahms – Double Concerto for Violin and Cello
✨ Plus a brand-new original work by talented local composer Ollie Thomas

🎶A Concert of Romantic Masterpieces 🎶

Join us for an evening of beautiful music on Saturday 6th December at 7.30pm at St Mark’s Church, Woodthorpe (NG5 4PH).

Our winter concert opens with the radiant Helios Overture by Carl Nielsen, followed by Mendelssohn’s much-loved Violin Concerto in E minor, featuring soloist Megumi Rolfe.

We’ll end the evening with Tchaikovsky’s powerful Symphony No. 5, a dramatic journey from darkness to triumph.

✨ Expect soaring melodies, rich harmonies, and a heartwarming atmosphere - the perfect way to brighten a winter evening!
