Ending the season on a high! 🎾🔥

Our Mixed 2s took their final trip of the season to Nettleham last week and came away with a brilliant victory, dropping only one set and winning 91 games! 👏🏆

Huge thank you to Nettleham Tennis Club for hosting such a lovely evening of tennis! 🎾

What a finale! 🎾🙌
Our Ladies 1s wrapped up their season this week in a vital final fixture against the lovely team from North Scarle.

It was a hard-fought battle, but Collingham came out on top with a brilliant 6–3 victory (66 games to 51)🏆.

Huge congratulations to the Ladies 1s Team on a fabulous win to end the season. Thank you to North Scarle for a great match! 👏✨

Our Men’s 1s made the trip to Sleaford last night and battled hard for a 5-4 win - securing their first official victory of the season! 🏆

Brilliant effort from the whole team. Now, on to their final match of the season in a couple of weeks! Good luck! 💪👏

Our final month of summer matches is upon us and then we transition into winter leagues.

Only the two home games over the next few weeks, both for our 1st teams, Ladies and Men’s and 3 away games in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Reminder, week night summer matches start at 6:30pm and go on until around 9pm, most Wednesday evenings.

It’s always great to have supporters down, so if you are free and have nothing to do one evening, pop down and support your club and maybe even your team!

Friday night tennis was back last night, and boy what a night it was!

Our Mixed 2nd Team hosted our Mixed 1st Team in a league fixture and it was such a great night of tennis! There was a few tie breaks, some great points to watch with some very close games as well as a great crowd too.

Our 2nd team came away with the win, and all the games were played in great spirits with a pub trip at the end too!

Apparently there was a solar eclipse last night? But that doesn’t stop tennis at Collingham Tennis Club - Notts, where our Mixed 2nd Team, who hosted Saxilby Tennis Club in a really enjoyable night of tennis.

After a few really close first 6 sets, Collingham finished the evening winning 6 of the 9 sets and 77 of the 117 games, meaning they take their second win of the season!

A quick turnaround for the team, as their next match is tomorrow night against fellow Collingham Tennis Club mixed team, the 1st team! If you fancy an evening in the sun watching tennis, weeknight matches start at 6:30pm for roughly 3 hours.

It’s August and what a month of matches we have coming up! Here’s our Home and Away fixtures for the next month!

A Tuesday Morning Social Record!!

Yesterday saw an awesome record breaking turnout and good vibes at the Tuesday Gentle Tennis Social morning play.

We had 24 players, 2 newcomers and 5 juniors all playing. That was all 4 courts, the 2 junior courts AND the Table Tennis all in use.
What an amazing morning of ALL abilities playing.

We did an early 9.30am start for a 2 hour play to beat the heat! But many of us were still playing at 12.

Such a great morning had by all.

Our Mixed 2nd team were back out in action last Thursday evening against Eastgate Tennis Club.

They have a brilliant evening of tennis, managing to get 2 sets and 46 games against a really friendly team, meaning Eastgate took the 3 points.

Our Mixed 2s go out again in a couple of weeks time.
