Bestwood Village Women's Institute We are a small but beautifully formed WI who enjoy traditional activities like cooking & crafts but also like to surprise ourselves by trying something new.

Bestwood Village Women's Institute (BVWI) are a relatively small group and you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome. Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month (except December)

We had a good night at our annual meeting last night.
Elizabeth has stepped down and Debbie was voted in as President. Elizabeth was presented with a rose from the members and when the business was finished our members made kusadama flowers. We also welcomed two new members.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meeting tonight. We were treated to some tasty dishes by the talented Webb Freckingham from The Cheese Shop in Nottingham with Heather assisting him. We also got to sample a variety of cheeses, I really enjoyed the Fat Cow, a Scottish emmentel style cheese and Keens Cheddar. There were also samples of Stinking Bishop, Baron Bogod and Colston Basset Stilton.
